income market segment. The prices are fairly competitive ---- 120 rupees a pair
and if you are smart with your importation, you should make a small sum of 40
shillings on each. Obviously if you aim to buy the for retail, then you should
be able to make much more profit margin but then again you might not sell as
many. The 40 shilling is for the sale on wholesale, an educated/experienced
estimate.
As I said above, you would need to be clever with your
shipping and custom clearance. For Kenyans in the business they should know how
to go about this.
On a good month, i.e. sunny as they are sandals. You can
sell a good sum of 6000 units, I will
let you do the maths. Once again you
would need to have the marketing and sales chanel, which I wouldn’t share am
afraid.
